One of the tasks of oil pump on the engine is to provide oil film between the working surfaces, by operating in the engine lubrication system. Oil film between the working parts which are in conjunction must be sufficiently strong, thereby reducing minimal potential of contact between metal surfaces in motion, under all conditions of engine operation.

When operating the internal combustion engine, temperature of burned gases in the cylinders is 2000 C. No engine can fully utilize the immense amount of heat energy that is released by combustion of fuel. Only 30-40% of the heat of combustion is converted to useful work, 35-40% of the heat energy is released from the engine through burned gases, and the rest of the heat is absorbed by the block and head (heads) of the engine.

Very often there is a need for repair of certain types of water pumps in the repair workshops, partly due to dilapidated seals, and partly due to certain damage of bearing or other functional parts.

The basic classification of gears is based on the relative position of the axes of the coupled gears, such as gear pairs with parallel axes of rotation, which represent cylindrical couples. For transport of fluids between gears teeth we use gears with cylindrical gearing with a real parallel axes, and they are represented the most in our production.
